## Quraish

### Pre-Bismillah

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

*In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.*

### Verses

#### Verse 1

لِإِيلَافِ قُرَيْشٍ

**Transliteration:** Li-ilaafi quraish

**Translation:** For the accustomed security of the Quraysh -

#### Verse 2

إِيلَافِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ الشِّتَاءِ وَالصَّيْفِ

**Transliteration:** Elaafihim rihlatash shitaa-i wass saif

**Translation:** Their accustomed security [in] the caravan of winter and summer -

#### Verse 3

فَلْيَعْبُدُوا رَبَّ هَٰذَا الْبَيْتِ

**Transliteration:** Fal y'abudu rabba haazal-bait

**Translation:** Let them worship the Lord of this House,

#### Verse 4

الَّذِي أَطْعَمَهُم مِّن جُوعٍ وَآمَنَهُم مِّنْ خَوْفٍ

**Transliteration:** Allazi at'amahum min ju'inw-wa-aamana hum min khawf

**Translation:** Who has fed them, [saving them] from hunger and made them safe, [saving them] from fear.
