## Al-Kaafiroon

**Translation:** The Disbelievers
**Revelation:** Meccan
**Number of Verses:** 6

### Pre-Bismillah

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

*In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.*

### Verses

#### Verse 1

قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ

**Transliteration:** Qul yaa-ai yuhal kaafiroon

**Translation:** Say, "O disbelievers,

#### Verse 2

لَا أَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ

**Transliteration:** Laa a'budu ma t'abudoon

**Translation:** I do not worship what you worship.

#### Verse 3

وَلَا أَنتُمْ عَابِدُونَ مَا أَعْبُدُ

**Transliteration:** Wa laa antum 'aabidoona maa a'bud

**Translation:** Nor are you worshippers of what I worship.

#### Verse 4

وَلَا أَنَا عَابِدٌ مَّا عَبَدتُّمْ

**Transliteration:** Wa laa ana 'abidum maa 'abattum

**Translation:** Nor will I be a worshipper of what you worship.

#### Verse 5

وَلَا أَنتُمْ عَابِدُونَ مَا أَعْبُدُ

**Transliteration:** Wa laa antum 'aabidoona ma a'bud

**Translation:** Nor will you be worshippers of what I worship.

#### Verse 6

لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِيَ دِينِ

**Transliteration:** Lakum deenukum wa liya deen.

**Translation:** For you is your religion, and for me is my religion."
