بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِIn the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.1Verse 1أَلْهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُCompetition for worldly gains distracts you [from Allah],2Verse 2حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَuntil you come to your graves.3Verse 3كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَNo indeed! You will come to know.4Verse 4ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَAgain no! You will come to know.5Verse 5كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ ٱلْيَقِينِNo indeed! If only you knew for certain1.6Verse 6لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَYou will surely see the Blazing Fire,7Verse 7ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ ٱلْيَقِينِAgain, you will see it with absolute certainty.8Verse 8ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِThen on that Day you will surely be asked about your worldly pleasures2.
